1st Class Mechanical Fitter in the Netherlands

To expand our team, we are looking for a 1st Class Mechanical Fitter who effortlessly combines craftsmanship, responsibility, and leadership qualities within residential construction. You are the specialist on the construction site and ensure that mechanical installations are realized professionally and according to schedule. With your technical knowledge and coaching attitude, you direct fellow fitters and monitor the quality of the work. Together with your team, you ensure an optimal end result and a pleasant working atmosphere.

As a 1st Class Mechanical Fitter, you are responsible for the independent execution and coordination of mechanical installation activities within residential construction. You work at project locations and are the point of contact for colleagues and involved parties on the construction site. No project is the same: one time you work on serial residential construction, the next time on sustainable installations in new construction projects. You maintain the overview and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Your responsibilities include

• Installing mechanical installations such as central heating systems, heat pumps, and ventilation systems;

• Directing and supervising (apprentice) fitters on the construction site;

• Coordinating and planning daily activities;

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams;

• Monitoring the quality, progress, and safety of the activities;

• Identifying deviations and thinking along regarding technical solutions;

• Coordinating with site managers, work preparers, and other involved parties;

• Ensuring a clean and safe workplace.

You are an experienced and independent fitter with natural leadership and a passion for technology.

Additionally:

• Do you possess an MBO level of work and thinking related to installation technology;

• Do you have extensive experience within mechanical installation technology (residential construction is a plus);

• Can you work independently and direct colleagues;

• Do you have experience reading technical drawings;

• Are you in possession of a driver's license B;

• Do you work in a structured and quality-oriented manner;

• Do you communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and partners;

• Do you have a VCA certificate or are you willing to obtain one.
