At least five years of leadership experience within QA or QEHS in the food industry; experience with cocoa is a plus.
Demonstrable knowledge of food safety standards, audits, and certifications.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
A hands-on, coaching, and result-oriented attitude.
The ability to lead people through change and sustainably anchor improvements.
The role
At Crown of Holland, we work every day on high-quality organic cocoa products that are appreciated worldwide.
As QEHS Manager, you will be part of an international organization and the local Management Team.
That means you will be given plenty of room to make an impact, realize improvements, and help build a safe, sustainable, and future-proof organization.
You will receive a great deal of freedom for your own initiative and professional development.
Together with a dedicated team of professionals, you will work in an informal and ambitious environment in which your ideas truly make a difference.
What you'll do
As QEHS Manager, you hold ultimate responsibility for maintaining, improving, and further professionalizing our QEHS systems. You monitor and strengthen quality, food safety, environmental performance, and sustainability within our organization and ensure that we continue to meet the highest standards.
In addition, you are a coaching and inspiring people manager for the QEHS team (7 employees). You are an important sparring partner for the MT team, customers, sales organization, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. With your expertise, decisiveness, and connecting approach, you will continue to build a strong quality and safety culture.
Managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the QEHS management system.
Analyzing and resolving quality issues to further strengthen customer satisfaction.
Coordinating certifications, audits, and inspections.
Strengthening a culture of quality and (food) safety within the organization.
Monitoring relevant laws and regulations in the fields of quality and environment.
Initiating improvement projects and realizing concrete results.
Monitoring and following up on KPIs and improvement actions.
What do you bring?
Should you have less experience with Safety and/or environment, we would still love to hear from you.
