Civil Engineering Foreman

You have:

• Plenty of ambition to work in a compact team with short lines of communication, the drive to motivate others, and technical insight and accuracy.
• Demonstrable work experience as a Civil Engineering Foreman is a plus, but an eager-to-learn attitude is just as important.
• Driving license B (preferably BE).
• You are flexibly deployable.
• A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written — important for communication, safety instructions, and work orders.
• A proactive work attitude, physical fitness, and you are accustomed to working outdoors.

As a Civil Engineering Foreman within our Breda branch, you are the daily operational leader on the project. You lead the team, monitor planning and quality, think ahead, and ensure that the project is executed safely and according to agreements. Thanks to your professional knowledge and leadership, the project runs smoothly and the client is satisfied. Craftsman or craftswoman — at Strukton, we make no distinction.

• Leading the Civil Engineering team at the project location.
• Executing and inspecting earthworks, paving, and sewerage works.
• Coordinating materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Daily contact with the site manager and project management.
• Recording progress in daily reports.
• Monitoring safety, quality, and planning.
• Collaborating where necessary: you are both a leader and a craftsman.
• Identifying deviations and thinking along with solutions.

The work consists of the construction of roads (asphalt and/or paving elements), sewerage, earthworks, paving, water management, site preparation, residential site preparation, landscaping, small civil-hydraulic works, and piping for sewage or pressure lines. We can confidently offer a very diverse package of activities, ensuring it never gets boring quickly.

Safety comes first and you work according to procedures and guidelines such as VCA-VOL and GPI. You are willing to undergo BHV training at the expense of Strukton.
