• at least 15 years of experience within complex enterprise IT environments.

• € 8442 to € 12207 gross per month (outside-CAO 4-D).

• As Principal Technology Lead, you are the voice in technological decision-making within Schiphol. You advise up to executive level and act as a trusted advisor to Schiphol's leadership regarding technology strategy, investments, risks, and digital transformation.

As Principal Technology Lead, you are responsible for the technological course, standards, and coherence within Schiphol. You help provide direction to strategic technology choices, governance, investments, and innovation, and ensure that Schiphol possesses a future-proof, secure, and scalable technological foundation. Decisions to which you contribute have a direct impact on the continuity, cyber resilience, scalability, and innovative power of one of the most complex technological environments in the Netherlands. You bear responsibility for technological coherence across the entire Enterprise Technology landscape: from connectivity, cloud, and datacenter services to digital workplace, identity, automation, integration platforms, and observability. How you realize this? That is up to you. You will apply your talents to:

• acting as the technological authority within Digital & Technology and providing direction to the technological development of Schiphol.
• acting as a trusted advisor on strategic technology investments, digital transformation, and enterprise risks.
• shaping technological decision-making through principles, standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.
• developing the technological vision and multi-year course for Schiphol in collaboration with your stakeholders in the Digital & Technology organization.
• leading and developing Schiphol's senior technology community and building an organization in which architecture, engineering, and platform development work together from a single technological vision.
• representing Schiphol towards strategic vendors, technology partners, and relevant external networks.
• providing hierarchical leadership to the Technology Architecture team, consisting of Technology Leads per domain and Solution Architects, and increasing their impact within the organization.

Enterprise Technology is the department in which all generic IT is brought together. The department delivers standardized building blocks such as infrastructure, platform, connectivity, and workplace services that are used by the Business Platforms for the development and management of their domain-specific solutions. Enterprise Technology thus forms the technological foundation of Digital & Technology and enables the Business Platforms to focus on maximum value creation for their business domain.

• experience with strategic sourcing issues and managing relationships with technology partners and vendors at a senior level.
