The role

Which choices determine the future of food?

The future of food is determined not only by new products, but especially by the strategic choices companies make today. Which markets offer room for growth? Which innovations are commercially viable? And how do you develop a business model that also creates value in the long term in a sector that is constantly changing?

During The Future of Food you step into the role of strategy consultant and work on a current strategic issue. Together with your team, you develop a growth strategy for an innovative player in the market for alternative proteins. Which segments offer the most opportunities? Which strategic choices contribute to sustainable growth? And how do you convince an investor of your business case?

Along the way, you will get to know the work of a strategy consultant at Roland Berger. You will work closely with our consultants, gain insight into how strategic issues are approached, and experience what it is like to be part of a project team. The business course concludes with a presentation of your strategy to a jury of consultants.

Curious how strategic choices shape the future of food? We look forward to welcoming you during The Future of Food.
