Business Consultant pos Systems

No two days are the same. One day you are discussing improvements with the business, the next you are guiding a system test or supporting an implementation.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Gathering, analyzing, and translating business wishes into clear requirements.
• Advising business stakeholders on system possibilities and process improvements.
• Describing and documenting processes, functionalities, and system modifications.
• Coordinating requirements, changes, and incidents with external suppliers.
• Monitoring the quality of delivered solutions and functionalities.
• Drafting and maintaining test scenarios and test documentation, and performing system, integration, and functional tests.
• Supporting users during testing phases and implementations.
• Contributing to projects focused on innovation, optimization, and renewal of store processes.
• Configuring and maintaining existing systems.
• Providing second- and third-line support for incidents and complex issues.

You are analytically strong, work in a structured manner, and get energy from solving complex issues. You switch easily between different stakeholders and know how to make technology understandable for the business.

In addition, you possess:

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking, obtained through education or experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Application Manager.
• Experience with retail, POS, or omnichannel systems.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
• A proactive and service-oriented attitude.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Experience within retail is a strong plus. You understand store processes and the impact of IT solutions on employees and customers.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

In this role, you will work on systems used daily by thousands of colleagues and millions of customers. You will be involved in improvements that are directly visible on the shop floor and will play an important role in the further digitalization of our retail organization.
