What you'll get

A salary between € 3,086 and € 3,832 gross per month based on 38 hours per week, depending on your knowledge and experience and in accordance with the DIY sector collective labor agreement (cao), supplemented by our additional employment conditions.
You start with a training period in which you get to know the store, processes, and responsibilities of the position well. During this period, you will be scaled between € 2,905 and € 3,595 gross per month based on 38 hours per week. After successfully completing the training period, you will move into the Sales Manager salary scale.
Monthly you receive a 2.43% holiday allowance on top of your salary;

The role

What you'll do

You provide daily leadership to your team and ensure clear agreements and a good division of tasks.
You motivate, coach, and guide colleagues in their work and development.
You create a pleasant working environment in which employees feel seen and can grow.
You maintain an overview of the shop floor and step in where necessary.
You monitor the turnover of your department(s) and adjust based on commercial results.
Together with your team, you ensure an attractive and commercial store presentation.
You create schedules, identify opportunities, and advise the Store Manager on improvements.
You are visible on the floor, know what is happening within the team, and can adjust immediately. In the absence of the Store Manager, you take responsibility for the entire store.
You have an MBO 4 level of working and thinking
You have experience in a leadership role, preferably within retail. (experience within a DIY store is a plus)
You are flexibly deployable, also in the evenings or on weekends
You have a good command of the Dutch language
You are eager to learn and want to continue developing yourself
You love to roll up your sleeves and can switch gears easily
You are an example for your team and know how to motivate colleagues
