nhow Amsterdam RAI is a social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdammers. The iconic building, oriented towards the different cardinal directions, symbolizes the melting pot that Amsterdam has always been and still is. The impressive 91-meter-high building is located in the Zuidas district, directly next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, and offers its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

For this iconic social hub, we are looking for a Food & Beverage Management intern who is enthusiastic and proactive and ready to participate in a dynamic design hotel. You are responsible for creating the nhow experience in the hotel for every guest.

As a Food & Beverage Management Intern, you are responsible for overseeing various operational and supervisory tasks in one or more of our Food & Beverage outlets. These are the rooftop restaurant Selva and the cocktail bar Sonora, the hotel bar Moana, banqueting, and room service. Examples of operational tasks you will be involved in are support in the outlets when it is busy, learning how the outlets operate on a daily basis, and more. Examples of supervisory tasks are creating schedules, employee administration, offer letters, inventory and stock management, reporting, project management, and much more. You are also responsible for handling complaints within the Food & Beverage departments and ensuring the accuracy and level of service. Additionally, you will gain a lot of knowledge about products, materials, and communication tools.

• A gross internship allowance of € 750 per month based on full-time;

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's in hospitality management, or a similar program, and this internship is mandatory for your school;

• Perfect command of the English language;

• You can work both independently and in a team and you have a guest-oriented and collegial attitude;

• You are stress-resistant; You have good communication skills and you have a flexible attitude regarding working hours and workload;

• You are determined to learn and to develop yourself;

• Additionally, you are innovative, resourceful, have a commercial attitude, and are available for at least 6 months.
