Manager Facility Services & Gebouwbeheer

The following attractive employment conditions apply to the position:

Initially, we offer a 12-month contract for a weekly working time of 32 to 36 hours, with the intention to extend this for an indefinite period.

According to the CAO for Broadcasting Personnel, the position is classified in scale J. The salary is between €4,629.04 and €7,491.57. Classification within the scale is based on relevant work experience, substantive expertise, and degree of independence.

As Manager Facility Services & Gebouwbeheer, you ensure that the building, the facility amenities, and the services align optimally with the needs of users and tenants. You are both a strategic partner and operationally ultimately responsible:

Tasks:

• Leading, coaching, and developing the Facility Services and Gebouwbeheer teams;

• Ensuring safe, customer-oriented facility services;

• Responsible for security and safety within the building;

• Co-developing policy in the areas of facility management, housing, sustainability, and safety;

• Drafting and monitoring budgets, multi-year plans, and investment proposals;

• Contracting, managing, and evaluating suppliers and external partners.

• Monitoring contract agreements, performance, quality, and costs;

• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, permits, safety regulations, or building certifications;

• Advising management on housing issues, facility developments, and building-related investments;

• Developing a future-oriented vision on hybrid working, workplace concepts, and space utilization;

• Co-assessing when maintenance, renovation, or replacement is necessary.

• Co-assisting with tenders in the fields of Facility Management and Gebouwbeheer;

• Identifying opportunities in the field of sustainability and realizing sustainable improvements within the building and services.

You are someone who makes connections easily and can switch effectively between management, employees, users, tenants, suppliers, and contractors. You are a strong communicator and possess leadership qualities. You have a positive attitude, are reliable, and maintain an overview, even when pressure increases. You are not afraid to take responsibility yourself and to think along and work practically when the situation calls for it.

In addition, you possess:

• HBO/WO working and thinking level, acquired through education, work experience, or another route in the field of Facility Management and Gebouwbeheer;

• Additional specific training in the field of Facility Management and Gebouwbeheer is a valuable addition;

• Multiple years of experience in a leadership position within facility management, housing, and/or building management;

• Experience with supplier and contract management;

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of facility services, housing, and safety;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build sustainable relationships;

• A coaching leadership style in which trust, ownership, and collaboration are central;

• Affinity with sustainability and future-proof work environments.

• A structured and accurate way of working, with an eye for contract management, administration, and process assurance;

• The ability to switch between both tactical and operational levels.
