The role
As UAT Manager, you are responsible for the coordination, governance, and successful execution of UAT in all migration waves. You ensure that all squads test in the same way, that risks are actively managed, and that decisions regarding acceptance and go-live are supported by objective evidence.
What you'll do
- UAT governance and planning: you establish the UAT strategy, the framework, the standards, and the governance model and keep them up to date. You define timelines, milestones, and entry and exit criteria. You ensure that every squad works in the same way with test scripts, evidence, defect management, and JIRA reporting. Before testing begins, you coordinate the readiness assessments.
- Supervision of execution: you monitor progress and test coverage across all squads. You identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and ensure they are addressed. Through dashboards and reports, you maintain central visibility of the execution.
- Defect management and escalation: you maintain control over major and critical defects across all domains. You drive prioritization across the squads. You escalate structural issues to the appropriate bodies, for example, regarding performance, environments, data quality, or delivery risks.
- Sign-off and go-live readiness: you assess whether the exit criteria have been met. You consolidate the test results from providing and consuming teams and coordinate the full sign-off process. You provide independent advice on acceptance and production readiness.
- Stakeholder management and reporting: you report regularly to the program management on progress, risks, escalations, and decisions. You ensure alignment between business, technology, and migration. If priorities clash, you facilitate the decision-making process.
How you'll work
On Mondays and Thursdays, you are in the office together with the team. Occasionally, Tuesday will be added. You can flexibly schedule the remaining days.
Bedrijfsomschrijving
You will be working within the Unlock Data Program, a large-scale data program in which data is transferred to a new environment in several migration waves. The work takes place in multiple squads, divided across different domains. Many parties are involved:
- teams providing data;
- teams using the data;
- migration teams and support teams;
- representatives of the business segments;
- the program management.
You form the central coordination point for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all those waves. You work closely with Product Owners, Domain Data Owners, Segment Leads, squad leads, and the program management.
