Join the team at Finance Accounting Services: Accounting Record to Report intern at KLM! From freight and passenger transport to aircraft maintenance and everything in between: the financial complexity can be found in the numbers. Everything must be entered correctly into our accounting system. You will ensure that happens. In this way, you play a crucial role in an accurate and timely closing for KLM.

You will have close contact with both the Financial Accountants and the Officers of Finance Support and ensure that all figures are entered correctly and timely into the books every month. You will also support various projects, which can range from VAT issues to the implementation of a new system.

In addition:

• You process the bookings in SAP that you receive from the Finance Business;
• You process the recharges from the various departments;
• You ensure that the balance sheet specifications are processed timely and correctly;
• You process the bank transactions;
• You support projects that are active at that time.

You will join the FAS NL department: Finance Accounting Services Netherlands. From building 102 at Schiphol-Oost, we oversee the entire accounting process of KLM and parts of Air France-KLM with about 60 colleagues. The atmosphere in the department is informal: count on low thresholds, little hierarchy, and a lot of collegiality. You will be part of the Record to Report team, where you will have approximately 15 direct colleagues.

You will deal with various business controllers, analysts, and processes. Yet, you will maintain an overview of this. Fortunately, everyone around you can count on your accuracy and numerical insight.

Furthermore:

• Are you currently pursuing an HBO degree (preferably Accountancy or SPD Business Administration);
• Do you have knowledge of Lean and streamlining processes;
• Do you speak and write Dutch and English;
• Are you available for 4 to 5 days per week, preferably from mid-January for 4 to 6 months (a later start is negotiable).
