As an aqua operator, you are responsible for providing various technical services to aircraft, including water and toilet services, but also for supporting other handling processes such as Airstart and Pre Conditioned Air. You work on board vehicles such as water and toilet trucks and ensure that everything is carried out on time and according to procedures. You do this in both day and night shifts.

Furthermore:

• you provide drinking water and toilet services to KLM aircraft and its customers using various equipment such as water trucks and toilet trucks;
• you inspect and maintain handling equipment, such as water and toilet trucks, according to the specified requirements and standards;
• you report technical malfunctions or imperfections and actively seek solutions to prevent delays;
• you perform administrative tasks, such as receiving and signing off work orders in the system;
• you ensure compliance with safety procedures and address colleagues regarding unsafe work behavior.

You work at Schiphol airport, in the Apron Services team, within the AHSU (Aircraft Handling & Support Unit) Unit. You are part of a driven and dynamic team that works in rotating shifts, including night shifts. Together, you ensure that KLM aircraft and those of its customers are always provided with the necessary services in a timely and safe manner.

You have an eye for detail and know how to maintain an overview, even when it is busy. You switch quickly and effectively from one task to another and always remain alert to safety. You work independently but also know how to collaborate well with colleagues from different departments. In the event of disruptions, you remain calm and think in a solution-oriented manner. You adhere to procedures and have the responsibility to perform your work well and safely.

Furthermore:

• you have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
• you have a B driver's license and can operate vehicles and machines independently;
• you have experience working with technical equipment in an operational environment;
• you pay attention to safety and address colleagues regarding unsafe behavior;
• you can work in an environment with diverse weather conditions and noise from aircraft engines;
• you will be screened by the Royal Marechaussee. This means that you have had no contact with the police or justice system;
• you have been registered in the Netherlands for at least 8 years.

• A gross starting salary of € 16.26 per hour;
