Senior Product Designer - My Tasks

As a Product Designer, you shape My Tasks: a new platform that brings together communication from headquarters, operational activities, and relevant information for our store employees. You investigate how we can support colleagues in our stores as effectively as possible and translate insights from research into a clear product vision, user-friendly solutions, and validated designs.

You work closely with users, stakeholders, and your team to discover opportunities, test ideas, and substantiate choices. In doing so, you are given plenty of space and responsibility to provide direction to a new product and actively contribute to other initiatives within the Store Operations domain. In this way, you help contribute to digital solutions that aid better store operations and a pleasant workday for our colleagues in the store.

• 09:00 - 09:15: You participate in your development team's stand-up and share some insights from research you conducted yesterday.
• 09:15 - 10:00: During the weekly Design Critique with the Design Chapter, you lead a feedback session for a design you are working on.
• 10:00 - 12:00: Focus time! Working in Figma, where you process the feedback you received this morning into a new version of your prototype.
• 12:00 - 13:00: Lunching with colleagues in our Foodcafé followed by a nice walk through Veghel.
• 13:00 - 14:00: Together with your Product Owner, you passionately present the long-term vision that you designed and validated last week to a group of business stakeholders.
• 14:00 - 15:00: Just getting the final details in order for the workshop you are about to facilitate.
• 15:00 - 17:00: In the afternoon, you facilitate a workshop with stakeholders and end users to gain clarity on what the current work process looks like and how we can improve it.

• At least 7+ years of experience as a designer and a portfolio with compelling and impactful cases. You demonstrate courage, assertiveness, vision, and ownership.
• A critical and curious eye for design and a drive to make it a little better every day for our colleagues in the store.
• Extensive experience in conducting Discovery and validation research and understanding user needs and employee journeys.
• Experience in managing complex stakeholder processes and persuasively presenting ideas and research results.
• Working in Agile is second nature to you and you communicate exceptionally well and fluently in both Dutch and English.
• And of course, you know Figma inside and out.
• A gross salary between €5,200 - €6,700 per month (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of max 7.5% of your annual salary based on organizational objectives.
• 30 vacation days (with the possibility to buy or sell vacation days) and 8% holiday allowance. You build up a pension through participation in the Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor het Levensmiddelenbedrijf (Industry Pension Fund for the Food Industry).
• An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a max. of 35 kilometers one way). We like to work together in the office, but you can also work partly from home.
