Outgoing Goods Employee

In Veghel stands our beautiful production hall where all Jumbo bouquets are assembled by hand daily by our own employees. The Flowers & Plants department receives these flowers directly from the grower to subsequently create beautiful bouquets. To ensure customers can enjoy the flowers for as long as possible, they are processed in a cooled environment (2 to 12 degrees) and are transported to our stores within 24 hours. In the vibrant binding room, the bouquets are hand-tied by approximately 80 binders. The entire process, from supply to distribution to the stores, is managed by several team leaders and carried out by a whole team of flower binders and logistics professionals.

As an Outgoing Goods Employee in the Veghel distribution center, you and your colleagues are responsible for supplying our stores. Within this role, you will also function as a (replacement) first employee/transport coordinator at times when no team leader is present.

Your duties consist mainly of loading trucks and checking orders for accuracy, quality, and quantity. The containers that you will load into the truck will appear in our stores. By working efficiently, our customers find fresh flowers and plants that they can enjoy for at least 7 days, because after all, that is Jumbo's vase guarantee. Happy customer? We're happy!
