What we're looking for
- Customer-oriented: you have an open and friendly appearance and have a good sense of how to approach a customer.
- A sales talent with commercial insight.
- Proactive and a real go-getter.
- A team player.
- Fluent in Dutch and can also manage well in English.
- Resourceful, independent, and able to set the right priorities.
- Computer literate; within IKEA, we work with various systems for, among other things, creating sales orders.
- Primarily available in the evening and on the weekend.

The role
We are looking for a sales assistant working 12 hours per week in the Home Decoration department.
About the job
The Sales department at IKEA Delft consists of Furniture Sales/Showroom (1st floor) and Market Hall Sales (ground floor). We are currently looking for new colleagues for Market Hall Sales.
About the work you will do
As a Sales assistant, you are one of the most important IKEA contact persons for our customers. You see customers before they see you, you help them kindly and advise them on suitable home solutions. You also work together with your colleagues to ensure the department always looks tidy. Furthermore, you understand the impact of a smile and always go that little bit extra, ensuring customers choose the right product with a good feeling and that you exceed their expectations.
