Flex Co-Worker, IKEA Delft, 12 to 28 hours/week

What will you do?
As a Flex Co-worker at IKEA, you are the colleague who ensures flexibility and continuity in our store. You are part of our flex pool and will be deployed across various departments, such as Customer Experience, Logistics, IKEA Food, and Sales. In this way, you contribute every day to a great shopping experience for our customers and support your colleagues where it is needed most.

You will work alternatingly across different departments and support their daily operations. This includes helping customers during their entire shopping journey, ensuring high goods availability, correctly performing logistics and fulfillment tasks, and working according to IKEA sales and store processes. You will get to know our products, services, and work processes well and actively share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.

You will start with an extensive onboarding and training program, in which you will be introduced to the basic tasks of the various departments. This program includes, at a minimum, all mandatory safety training, so that you can start working safely and with confidence.

You will receive your schedule four weeks in advance, in accordance with the CAO. On the day itself, you will hear which department(s) you will be deployed to that day. This requires flexibility, but also offers plenty of variety and development opportunities.

Practical
The Flex Co-worker is scheduled in accordance with the CAO from Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 22:00, and on Sundays and public holidays between 08:00 and 19:00. The largest deployment of the flex pool takes place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Therefore, we expect you to be available on these days. You will work in an environment where no two days are the same and where your efforts contribute directly to satisfied customers and the success of IKEA.

You are:

• Available for 28 hours per week
• Availability on both Saturday and Sunday and in the evenings during the week is a requirement (in accordance with CAO).
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and inspired by the vision, values, and culture of IKEA.

• Proactive and self-managing, with the ability to plan your own work well and set priorities.
• Interested in retail, home furnishing, and people's daily lives at home.

• You will be offered a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension and the prospect of permanent employment.
