The role

Are you up for physical work, do you enjoy working together with colleagues, and are you available for 20 or 24 hours per week? Then IKEA Delft is looking for you!

Our logistics organization is open and active between 05:00 and 01:00. At this moment, we are specifically looking for colleagues who are primarily available in the morning, with availability between 05:00 and 18:00.

What are you going to do?
As a logistics worker (at IKEA we call this Goods Flow), you are responsible for various tasks. One day you collect and check orders, the next day you are busy replenishing the store in the Markethall or in the warehouse. You ensure that all orders are ready on time and complete — whether it is for customers in the store or orders for home delivery. Accuracy and collaboration are central to this.

What do we offer you?

  • The opportunity to obtain certificates at our expense for operating, among other things, forklifts, so that you can further develop yourself within logistics.

Who are you?
As a Goods Flow employee (also known as a Logistics worker) at IKEA, you must be able to work quickly and safely in a busy and hectic environment. Every day is different. You are flexible and are willing to work both during the day and on weekends. Additionally, you find it no problem to perform heavy physical work and you are:

  • Resourceful, independent, and able to set the right priorities.
  • Customer-friendly and service-oriented.
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently but always safely, together with your colleagues.
  • Good at handling technology, think of the scanners you will be using here.
  • Fluent in English and/or Dutch.
  • At least 18 years old (due to the working hours).
