Hospitality kitchen worker, IKEA Food Delft, 12, 24 or 28 hours/week

What will you be doing?

You:

• Helps guests and ensures a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
• Prepares and serves (Swedish) dishes. Of course, we will teach you this step by step
• Works at the cash register
• Ensures everything is clean, tidy, and well-prepared (mise en place)
• Jump in at different locations such as the restaurant, café, bistro, or dishwashing area

So you will work alternatingly in different locations within the department, which makes it dynamic.

• Location: IKEA Delft
• Hours: 12, 24, or 33 hours per week
• Working hours: Monday to Sunday (incl. evenings & weekends)
• You receive your schedule 4 weeks in advance
• You can indicate 1 fixed day off (Mon-Fri)

You don't need to be an experienced hospitality pro yet; at IKEA, we find you as a person and your motivation more important.

You are a good fit if you:

• Enjoy working with people and are service-oriented
• Get energy from a busy environment
• Are flexibly available (mainly in the evenings and weekends)
• Don't find physical work to be a problem
• Preferably have some experience in hospitality, retail, or catering
• Speak fluent English and/or Dutch
