BBL student

As a BBL student at HEMA, you will fully participate in the team. You learn by doing: in the store, behind the register, and in the restaurant. You help customers with a smile, restock shelves, prepare fresh coffee, and ensure the store and catering area look inviting. No two days are the same. Your colleagues will guide you during your learning process and ensure that you grow step by step in your work. From restocking promotional items to helping with a cappuccino-to-go - you truly make HEMA. You work together with a committed team, actively think along about how things can be improved, and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. You gain practical experience while simultaneously building your future.

At HEMA, you get more than just a work-study placement and a salary that matches your age and the number of hours you work. You become part of a well-known and beloved brand, where you work together with driven colleagues in a pleasant working environment. You work in a team that wants to grow together - with room for your ideas. And whether you work part-time or are working almost full-time: we will coordinate your hours in consultation. Additionally, at HEMA you get:

• 💸 A good salary appropriate to your knowledge and experience.
• 🛍️ 15% staff discount on all your HEMA favorites - from tompoucen to Takkie plushies.
• 🌴 Holiday and leave: 8% holiday allowance and sufficient holiday per year to recharge nicely.
• 🚀 Learning & development: plenty of opportunities to develop yourself, with training and help from your colleagues.
• 💚 Health & energy: we ensure that you feel good in your own skin, even on busier days.

You love people and truly want to help customers. You are eager to learn, curious, dare to take initiative, and get energy from working together. You have a sense for service and for sales. Even when it is busy, you remain friendly and engaged. You see opportunities and seize them, dare to learn from feedback, and actively contribute to a good working atmosphere. In short: you are making a conscious choice for a BBL trajectory in which you truly make a difference - for yourself, your team, and the customer.

At HEMA, we work with over 17,000 colleagues toward a better everyday life in a more beautiful world. With products that are more practical, more beautiful, better, and also last longer. And with colorful stores in villages, cities, and online. We are proud of how far we have come, but we are not yet satisfied. HEMA is truly HEMA again and ready for the next step. Our ambition? To become the leader in a challenging market. We do that together, as one team, with proud colleagues, entrepreneurs, and partners. By playing to win. That means being curious, seizing opportunities, collaborating with pleasure, and always aiming for the best result. You dare to speak your mind and challenge others to become better together. With your unique contribution, you can help build the HEMA of tomorrow. You make HEMA real. Will you join us?
