• Acting as the 1st point of escalation for machine and system malfunctions
• Analyzing and resolving technical problems, potentially with support from suppliers
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Coordinating and planning maintenance with external parties
• Identifying and reporting (imminent) malfunctions
• Continuously improving and optimizing systems and performance
• Working according to quality guidelines and procedures to ensure product integrity and patient safety
• Actively maintaining and developing technical knowledge and skills

Technician - Warehouse Automation

This position supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe, which are carried out through our Alliance Healthcare division.

Job Summary

As a Technician Level 2, you are responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of our automated warehouse and production systems. You will work in a technically complex environment involving robotics, conveyor systems, and pharmacy production lines, among others.

You are the first point of escalation for technical malfunctions and play a key role in ensuring continuity, quality, and patient safety.

• A-frame systems
• Shuttle and inventory robots
• Central Filling pharmacy production lines
• Conveyor and transport systems
• Depalletizers and strapping machines
• Pick stations

• MTS working and thinking level (or equivalent)
• Additional technical training is a plus

• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting in a technical or production environment
• Experience with automated systems or logistics installations is a strong plus
• Experience with supplier contact and technical troubleshooting
• Problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills
• Good ability to plan and organize your own work
• Resilient to stress and decisive during malfunctions
• Team player with a proactive work attitude
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages

Technical knowledge:

Knowledge of mechatronics is an important plus:
