Material handler-2

The Material Handler is responsible for packing and unpacking materials, assisting with the stocking and retrieval of parts, and all other functions related to shipping and receiving. At the same time, he or she provides excellent service to internal and external customers.

- Unload incoming shipments.

- Check the bill of lading and packing list, unpack incoming shipments.

- Accurately record received materials against the correct purchase orders

- Pick via Kardex system

- Repackaging products

- Check the accuracy of outgoing shipments.

- Correctly pack outgoing shipments to ensure that the contents arrive at the destination undamaged. - Follows all warehouse processes while performing duties and ensures good cleaning in all assigned workspaces.

- Complies with all Flowserve safety requirements.

- Basic computer skills.

- Willing to work occasional overtime, including weekends and evenings.

- While performing this function, the employee must regularly stand for long periods, walk many steps, kneel, twist, and bend.

- Must be able to multitask and work in a production environment with multiple product changeovers.

- Must be willing to learn and, if necessary, undergo cross-training in different functions.

- Good communication skills.

- Other assigned tasks.
