What we're looking for
Are you enthusiastic, stress-resistant, customer-oriented, and flexible? Then we are looking for you!
We ask for:
- a completed healthcare education at minimum MBO level 3 (for example ‘Verzorgende IG, nurse or medical assistant’);
- good oral and written command of the Dutch language;
- you possess a valid driver's license and your own transport;
- you are deployable both at the collection locations in the region and within the hospital;
- responsibility for the process and a sharp eye for the quality of care.
Nice to have
- experience in and/or affinity with the healthcare sector is a plus;
- experience with performing venipuncture is a plus;
- affinity with interacting with different people;
- you are flexibly deployable: workdays are from Monday to Sunday, and shifts start from 7:30;

Workdays, hours, and location are planned in consultation with the supervisor according to the department's schedule. You will receive four weeks of internal training. The internal training begins at the start of employment, of course paid!

What you'll do
As a blood collection worker, you are responsible for collecting blood from patients and the correct processing of the material. You are the visiting card of the organization, the professional who puts the patient at ease. You guide the patient through the procedures you are going to perform and do so in a respectful and empathetic manner. After collecting the tubes, you ensure the correct administrative processing of the material. The activities take place at one of the collection points in the region, or within the hospital at the outpatient clinic or in the clinic, depending on the schedule.
