The role
You enjoy being on the road and love variety in your work. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to food safety in the Netherlands. You work independently, have a lot of contact with customers, and are given the freedom to shape your workday while on the road.
What you'll do
As a Field Food Safety Technician, you are an important link between our customers and the laboratory. You visit food-producing companies daily to take and collect samples for analysis. In addition, you ensure that samples are correctly registered and transported so that our analysts can deliver reliable results. Furthermore, you process sample documentation, take photos, and record relevant findings for the final report. You also deliver and collect materials and samples from customers and other laboratories. No two days are the same: you are on the road a lot, visit various locations throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and have a varied combination of customer contact and administrative tasks.
