What we're looking for

- Willing to work on Saturdays twice a month (roster)
- Good command of the Dutch language

Pay & benefits

- Annual contract for 32 hours per week with a view to permanent employment
- Salary between € 2,844 and € 4,063 gross per month (based on 40 hours)

The role
Do you want to contribute to food safety in the Netherlands and work in a modern laboratory? As a microbiology analyst in Heerenveen, you will analyze diverse samples and ensure that products meet the correct safety standards. You work accurately, switch gears quickly, and make a daily impact.
What you'll do
As a microbiology analyst, you work with various samples, such as baby food, animal feed, shellfish, and vegetables. You perform microbiological analyses using modern techniques and ensure that results are reliable and correct. You also process urgent requests, which requires you to act quickly and maintain an overview. In addition, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement. You work in different parts of the lab and get the opportunity to further develop yourself in various analytical techniques.
