You have a completed HBO or WO degree.
You have excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
You have demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake is a plus.
You possess relevant Microsoft certifications, such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-700, DP-600 and/or DP-700, or are willing to obtain them.
You have extensive experience with SQL.
You have experience with ETL/ELT processes and modern data integration.
Experience with DevOps methodologies
You are analytically strong and think in terms of sustainable solutions.
You know how to translate customer needs into technical solutions and can advise well on this.
Certifications within Databricks are a nice addition.

What will you do?
As a Senior Data Engineer, you play an important role in developing, managing, and further developing our customers' data platforms. The focus lies on managed services environments within Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric. You will work on modern data platforms where OneLake functions as a central data hub and Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions are applied according to the Medallion architecture. In doing so, you will use technologies such as SQL, PySpark, and Power BI and ensure a secure and well-managed data environment with attention to governance and security. You help customers continuously improve, expand, and future-proof their data environment.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Designing, developing, and managing modern data platforms in Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric.
Further developing and optimizing customers' managed services environments.
Building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Translating customer wishes into scalable and future-proof solutions.
Collaborating within a team where quality, automation, and knowledge sharing are central.
Advising customers on the best configuration of their data platform.
You will work alternatingly at the client, from home, or at our office in Delft.
