Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

With us, you will receive a total package of compensation and employment conditions with a total annual value between €70,000 and €95,000 (on a full-time basis and depending on your experience and choices).

E-mergo is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist. In this role, you will help create BI environments for our growing client base and act as an architect, developer, and designer in the field of Business Intelligence. In doing so, you will be in direct contact with the upper management of companies such as Pathé, Vopak, and Rijk Zwaan.

What are you going to do?

As a Senior BI consultant, you support clients by analyzing data and designing, testing, and building BI solutions using our product lines. Strategic and tactical client objectives are translated by you into projects. You also develop, deliver, and maintain complex reporting environments and build tooling for organizations so they can make better use of their data. In addition to consultancy, you also guide junior consultants and contribute ideas for new concepts.

What are we looking for in you?
We are looking for a Senior Consultant who works innovatively and likes to take initiative. You are an expert within your field and have a passion for Business Intelligence, data integration, and data technologies. You always see advising and creating smart solutions as a challenge. You analyze and integrate data from various sources, set up complex predictive reporting structures, and plan scenarios. You are also able to take the lead in technical BI trajectories.

• You have at least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree and demonstrable knowledge of Business Intelligence;

• Experience with Qlik, TimeXtender and/or Microsoft BI solutions;

• Experience with SQL, reporting, and data warehousing;

• Relevant knowledge of unlocking databases;

• Experience with data modeling; 

• You are familiar with system administration concepts, processes, and standards; 

• Affinity with data integration, Big Data, and related issues;

• You are analytically strong and flexible; 

• You can work well both independently and in a team;

• You are communicatively skilled and proficient in the Dutch language.
