You will make it happen
In this procurement specialist position, you will support carrier procurement, rate negotiations, and the optimization of our procurement strategy. You will closely follow market developments, capacity, and price movements and translate these insights into clear analyses and reports (Excel). Additionally, you will contribute to local and international Tenders and monitor carrier performance and compliance with contractual agreements. Smart procurement decisions, strong carrier relationships, and sustainable results; you will contribute to them.

You bring

• managing and maintaining local and central procurement rates in our pricing systems and Excel overviews;
• supporting tenders and preparing competitive price proposals, in collaboration with our tender department;
• monitoring our allocation agreements with shipping lines and internally, ensuring good internal follow-up;
• working intensively with colleagues from different departments such as Sales, Operations, Pricing, and our international DSV offices;
• preparing and participating in local carrier meetings, including discussing rates, capacity, and operational performance;
• actively contributing to following market developments and identifying commercial opportunities.
