Heavy Vehicle MOT Inspector (in training)

As a Heavy Vehicle MOT Inspector, you and your team will ensure that trailers are inspected safely and according to the applicable guidelines. You are responsible for preparing, performing, and completing MOT inspections, where quality and safety always come first. Thanks to your structured approach and technical insight, inspections proceed efficiently and carefully.

• Performing MOT inspections on heavy vehicles

• Preparing inspections by getting vehicles ready in a timely manner

• Preparing work for the following day (planning and setting up the evening before)

• Identifying and resolving technical defects

• Working in shift work, where you operate both independently and in a team

• Willingness to become a Heavy Vehicle MOT Inspector (or already in possession of MOT 1/1 Limited)

• Technical foundation (for example, 1st class commercial vehicle mechanic or comparable level)

• Experience with trailers is a plus

• Good command of the Dutch language (English is a plus)

• Independent, problem-solving, result-oriented, proactive, and responsible

• Team player who can also work well alone

• Flexibly deployable in shift work: 07:00-15:30 and 13:30-22:00

• Attractive salary package: classification in salary scale Pool Worker D according to the cao DFDS Seaways, supplemented with a shift allowance of 15.32%.
