According to our own collective labor agreement (CAO), you can count on:

• A gross monthly salary of €2,478 based on 38 hours per week;
• A gross hourly wage of €14.99;
• A temporary contract for the holiday period, with the possibility of extension;
• 26 vacation days pro rata;
• Allowances for working irregular hours;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• 20% staff discount on part of the collection.

As a Sales Associate, you are the face of De Bijenkorf. With your enthusiasm and welcoming attitude, you ensure that every guest feels welcome and receives optimal assistance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively approaching and advising guests about our products and services;
• Inspiring guests and exceeding their expectations;
• Contributing to an attractive, inspiring, and well-maintained store appearance;
• Festively wrapping purchases;
• Operating the cash registers;
• Creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere, so that every shopping experience feels special.

We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues who get energy from contact with guests and recognize themselves in the following profile:

• You are trend-conscious, customer-oriented, and radiate enthusiasm;
• You have experience in a customer-oriented or commercial role, preferably within retail;
• You have strong communication skills and a commercial mindset;
• You take initiative and see opportunities to help guests optimally;
• You are flexibly deployable, also during weekends and shopping evenings;
• You possess at least an MBO (vocational) level of working and thinking;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
