Production Engineer Parts Coating Line

You will be working within the Production Engineering (PE) cluster Parts Coating Line. It is a chemical process, involving both the pretreatment and the coating of sheet metal components. As a Production Engineer, you will work on the continuous improvement of the installed production systems in the coating line by optimizing coating, coating techniques, machines, tools, and aids.

• For new items, you will design and implement the best coating process according to current conditions such as safety, quality, delivery reliability, and costs.
• You are responsible for defining and implementing innovations and changes regarding working methods, layout, and logistical flows resulting from product and process projects.
• You will draft work instructions and guidelines for production and maintenance.
• In doing so, you will collaborate with various parties including Production, Logistics, Quality Service, Product Development, Central Laboratory/Testing, and various external partners in the field of coating technology.
• You are the point of contact within PE for the Parts Coating Line
• You are responsible for the controlled, timely, and planned introduction and setup of new production processes by means of (sub)projects.

The Production Engineer Parts Coating Line reports to the Group Head of Production Engineering. You are part of a technical cluster consisting of Parts and Color Parts coating line, and Longitudinal Member Manufacturing, which consists of 7 people.
