We are looking for an independent doer with good social antennae. Someone who finds hospitality to be a matter of course, maintains an overview, and enjoys ultimately managing the office largely independently.
You:
are practical, organized, and a self-starter;
communicate easily with colleagues, guests, and suppliers;
have an eye for detail and representativeness;
tackle problems independently;
speak good Dutch and English.
An MBO Hotelschool or comparable hospitality education in combination with catering experience is a strong asset for this position.
You will receive an independent and varied role with plenty of room for initiative. Additionally, we offer, among other things, 25 vacation days, full travel expense reimbursement, a training budget, pension scheme, bicycle plan, phone and internet allowance, and virtual shares.
You will work from our office directly next to Amsterdam Central, with a view over the IJ.
Are you hospitable, practical, and someone who sees what needs to be done? As Office Manager, you ensure our office runs smoothly and is a pleasant place for colleagues, clients, and partners.
You are the central point of contact at our office in Amsterdam and ensure that everything is well organized. From a representative office and a well-prepared lunch to a warm welcome for visitors.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
the daily lunch and stock of food, drinks, and coffee;
a clean, well-maintained, and well-functioning office;
reception of clients, partners, and other visitors;
contact and appointments with suppliers and our cleaning service;
preparation of our weekly staff drinks;
organization of events and staff activities;
booking purchase invoices and other light administration.
In doing so, you do not wait for instructions. You notice yourself when something is missing, not working well, or could be improved, and you take action.
Socially, you also play an important role. You know your colleagues, contribute to a warm atmosphere, and know well when to give attention and when to let people work in peace.
Copernica develops software for email and marketing automation. We work with short lines of communication and a lot of independence. People are given the space to take responsibility and to organize their work increasingly smartly.
Does it seem fun to form the heart of our office? Then we would love to meet you.
