Senior SOC Analyst

• A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in IT or cybersecurity
• At least 5 years of experience in a SOC or blue team environment
• Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), SC-900, AZ-900, SC-200, MS-102 (optional), and MS-500 (optional).
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Knowledge of endpoint and cloud security.
• Basic knowledge of Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or QRadar
• Knowledge of incident response, threat hunting, and MITRE ATT&CK
• Experience with cloud security (Azure and/or AWS) and EDR/XDR solutions
• Certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, SC-200, or similar are a plus
• You take ownership and are able to make well-founded decisions quickly.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language (C1/C2 level)

From the Value Delivery Center (VDC), Sogeti delivers innovative services such as Sogeti Smart Workspace (SSW) and Azure Cloud Platform. Additionally, we protect our customers with an advanced Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service from our Security Operations Center (SOC).

With 24/7 monitoring and response, we ensure that cyber threats are detected and addressed in a timely manner. We work for clients in sectors where cybersecurity is of vital importance, such as government, healthcare, and energy. You are technically responsible for designing (architecture), implementing, and maintaining Sogeti's SOC SIEM solution for the VDC's customers. You ensure that we stay ahead of new trends and possibilities, while monitoring that costs and benefits are in balance. You participate in opportunities and quotes and contribute to these by translating our vision into customer needs. You also assist with calculations for both Run and implementation.

Within the SOC, you also fulfill a role as a Tier 3 SOC analyst, acting as a point of contact for the other analysts and ensuring that knowledge is transferred and secured within the team. Participating in the SOC's standby duty is also part of the role.

Together with the Manager SecOps and the SME SecOps, you manage the service delivery within the VDC.
