As a PMO, you are the supporting force behind successful project and program delivery. You provide structure, progress, governance and reporting so that project managers and stakeholders can build on reliable information. You are the linchpin who streamlines processes, makes risks transparent and ensures that projects run smoothly and predictably.
In the role of PMO, you are responsible for, among other things:
• Helping to optimize and professionalize processes within the management team
• Setting up, managing and improving project administration, documentation and governance processes
• Managing and maintaining schedules, progress reports, risk and issue registers
• Monitoring deadlines, budgets and deliverables and identifying deviations in a timely manner
• Facilitating consultation moments such as project boards, status meetings and steering committees
• Collecting and analyzing project data to provide insights and suggestions for improvement
• Supporting resource planning, reporting and decision-making
• Ensuring clear communication towards stakeholders
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2)
You work closely with project teams, stakeholders and clients and help with setting up, managing and improving project management processes.
