(Senior) Concrete Construction Work Preparer (North Brabant region)

So that execution can start on time, in a controlled manner, and safely. Whether it concerns the widening of a highway or the construction of a sunken railway in built-up areas with heavy traffic. What you will do as a concrete construction work preparer

• Ensuring a good foundation with work and inspection plans and schedules, so that the realization of a project proceeds smoothly.
• In doing so, coordinating internally with, among others, fellow work preparers, the project manager, environmental managers, ecologists, and the sustainability coordinator. And externally with partners such as the client, subcontractors, and permit providers.
• Organizing that parties from whom we purchase services or materials receive the correct documents regarding the scope and requirements for time, quality, and safety in a timely manner.
• Monitoring costs during execution and, in consultation with the project manager, reserving extra budgets for additional and reduced work.
• Ensuring interim reports and the handover dossier.

Your team
You are part of the realization team of a project that is often multi-year. Switching to another job in between is possible. Within the project, you form a team with fellow work preparers for road construction. We combine serious work with an occasional joke. And we look out for each other: we regularly check how you are doing and if you need help. We find team development important at Boskalis. We pay a lot of attention to that. Therefore, we preferably work on-site at projects. But in consultation with your supervisor, working partly from home is always negotiable. And we regularly organize project team outings to get to know each other better, informal drinks, and events for meeting and knowledge sharing across projects.

What you bring
You can make the difference as a work preparer if you bring the following:

• HBO level in the direction of civil engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience at a (medium) large contractor in a role as a work preparer or project engineer, project coordinator, or (head) site manager.
• Good communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to find a solution for every issue together with the right people. Or rather the ability to dissect and solve technically complex issues.

This is what you can expect from us:

• A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €5,500 (depending on knowledge and experience) for a full-time employment (40 hours).
• Good employment conditions according to the CAO Bouw & Infra for UTA employees (Technical Administrative Executive), including 20 vacation days and 10 non-working days, a monthly payment of 4.96% UTA days budget, and a 2.3% sustainable employability budget.
• An electric lease car or a mobility budget of at least € 930 gross per month for a 40-hour employment.
• A good pension scheme where Boskalis Nederland pays most of the premiums. This results in more net salary for you.
