The position of Early Intervention Staff Member is at the Buurtteam Amsterdam Zuidoost, part of B&A. You will work as an Early Intervention Staff Member in an accessible, appropriate, sustainable, and cost-effective place where Amsterdammers can go with all their questions. A place where they are primarily helped well and without hassle. You will be surrounded by specialists, work integrally, and connect with the individual questions and needs of the Amsterdammers.

In Amsterdam, housing associations, health insurers, and city districts work together to help people with payment arrears. They are approached at an early stage, and as an Early Intervention Staff Member, you prevent debts from increasing further. You are fully committed to finding the right assistance for them.

You visit people at home and discuss the causes of the financial problems together. With this, you prevent large(r) problems from arising, such as an eviction. By mapping out the situation well and providing simple advice and information, you bring peace and confidence. You handle simple issues correctly, and in the case of complex problems, you refer to the right service provider. In that case, it is useful if you have a good network and are familiar with the social map of Amsterdam Zuidoost! Through your experience, you have good knowledge of and insight into finances, budgeting, and relevant social-legal laws and regulations.

Do you have HBO-level work & thinking skills (for example, Social Legal Services), relevant work experience, and would you like to work for the specialist in the social domain in the Netherlands? Then join B&A as an Early Intervention Staff Member (VEOA) at the Buurtteam in Amsterdam Zuidoost and help Amsterdammers with payment arrears.

• Salary: a gross basic salary according to the CAO-Sociaal Werk with a favorable travel, pension, and health insurance scheme. Additionally, you will receive an Individual Choice Budget (including an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%), with which you can earn extra money or purchase leave.
