Our society faces enormous challenges: the energy transition, nitrogen issues, and the sustainability of infrastructure and industry. As a Permit Advisor - Environmental Law, you play a crucial role in these changes. You ensure that permits and public law authorizations are in order, so that projects and business operations involving environmentally harmful activities not only proceed, but also truly contribute to a safe and healthy living environment.
Whether it concerns amending the environmental permit for hydrogen stations, an EIA procedure for a sewage treatment plant, or advising on business operations during environmental emergencies: you ensure that all permit processes run smoothly and carefully.
In this versatile role, you will work on diverse projects throughout the Netherlands. Your focus lies on environmental law and everything that comes with it. Specifically, you will be involved in:
Applying for permits or performing notifications, particularly for environmentally harmful activities and other relevant procedures;
Guiding EIA procedures and advising on environmental plans;
Identifying and managing risks and conditions, so that projects and installations comply with laws and regulations;
Maintaining relationships with clients, competent authorities, and other stakeholders;
Knowledge sharing and coaching of colleagues, acting as an example and a point of contact;
Improving processes and working methods, so that we work smarter and more efficiently as a team.
Your work is dynamic and varied: one day you are sitting at a table with a client, the next day you are brainstorming with a water board or drafting a permit application.
Location: Amstelveen, Nieuwegein, Eindhoven, Breda or Holten (hybrid working possible)
Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
Salary: up to €7,000 gross per month (depending on experience)
You will join our enthusiastic Permits team, consisting of ten colleagues. We are true specialists with different backgrounds, ranging from experienced advisors to young talents. What binds us;
The passion for permits and the will to make a difference together;
We work across the locations in Nieuwegein, Breda, Eindhoven, and Holten, but we seek each other out physically on a regular basis. Additionally, we regularly work on-site at one of our clients;
There is an open and collegial atmosphere in which sharing knowledge and supporting one another are central;
You will get all the space to develop yourself and contribute to the growth of the team.
Are you the expert who sees permits not as paperwork, but as a means to make a real difference in our living environment? Then we would love to meet you!
