What we're looking for

Education & experience: you have a university level of education, are registered in the accountants register (NBA), and have at least 8 years of leadership experience, during which you led team leaders/managers for at least 3 years.
Skills and abilities: you can integrally manage larger teams, advise strategically, and further advance commercial development. You also have experience with team and organizational development, digitalization, data-driven working, and AI implementation.
Leadership: you are a visible and connecting leader who combines result-orientation with sincere attention to people, quality, and collaboration. You create clarity and calm, stimulate ownership, and bring teams along in changes.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Salary: between € 6,845 and € 11,409 gross per month for a full-time employment.
Freedom of choice in leave: you determine how many vacation days you take, up to 38 per year. Choose from regular leave, the aaff budget, or extra days via your salary. Whatever you do not use from the aaff budget, we will pay out.
Home office budget of € 550: to set up your home workplace comfortably and ergonomically.
Allowance for working from home: € 2.45 per home office day + € 40 net internet allowance per month.
Sustainable travel: € 0.30 per car-km for commuting, € 0.40 (€ 0.23 net) per bicycle/walking kilometer. On top of that, a full public transport allowance or—if more than 7,500 business km/year—an electric lease car or mobility budget. When driving electric, you receive € 0.40 per kilometer.

What will you do as Director Accountancy & Advisory, West region?

As Director of Accountancy & Advisory for the West Netherlands region, you steer towards quality, client value, commercial growth, and a healthy operation. In doing so, you translate strategy into clear choices and ensure that changes actually land in practice.
Additionally, you strengthen teams and leadership, stimulate collaboration across offices and disciplines, and accelerate digitalization and data-driven working. At the same time, you safeguard the balance between results, workload, and quality. In this way, you build a safe, professional, and open culture of improvement in which colleagues work with pleasure and continue to develop.

Integral management of the regional Accountancy & Advisory practice within multiple offices.
Strengthening commercial growth, client development, and regional market cultivation.
Safeguarding technical quality, compliance, and professional standards.
Developing future-oriented teams with the right skills, mindset, and craftsmanship.
Accelerating digitalization, data-driven working, and AI adoption within the practice.

You also work closely with colleagues from disciplines such as Agro Business Advisory, Tax & Legal, Payroll & HR, and Sales & New Business. You report to the regional director and serve as a strategic and tactical sparring partner from your role.
