Are you the exceptional expert who not only performs the most complex technical diagnoses, but also leads the new construction team, coordinates our critical new construction projects, and serves as the mentor for the next generation of technicians?

We are looking for a Technical Specialist & New Construction Foreman who is the absolute linchpin in our workshop and sets the technical standard. This role combines the functions of Technical Specialist and Foreman into a unique and highly challenging position.

As a Technical Specialist & New Construction Foreman, you are the indispensable link and driving force in three crucial areas:

You are our top expert in the field of electric vehicles and complex systems. You tackle all faults and problems that others cannot solve, particularly regarding new construction and technically complex diagnoses on commercial vehicles. You independently perform the most complex repairs and maintenance work and participate in the regular schedule. You are the technical go-to person and offer daily support to colleagues.

For approximately eight hours a week, you are the managing link between the new construction team and the Account Managers of Volvo & Renault Trucks. You proactively check the work performed by your colleagues to ensure our high quality standards. You bear the responsibility for the efficient and safe functioning of the new construction department and serve as the example in strictly following all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

New Construction Coordination: You coordinate new construction projects. This includes the weekly planning in consultation (with Account Manager, SM, Warehouse, and Sales Support) and the daily follow-up and management of the mechanics currently working in new construction.

Mentorship: You are our official Mentor. At a fixed time each week, you conduct short progress meetings with the apprentices, guide them during repairs, and prepare them for their practical exams. In this role, you work closely with the VGTC Academy Coaches, who develop (apprentice) mechanics and career changers into skilled professionals through practical coaching and training.
