You walk into a museum where a new camera system is being commissioned. Everything must work before the doors open. A few days later, you are at a logistics location where access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection come together in one integrated security system. At such moments, you are the one who ensures that the technology does what it is supposed to do.
As a Security Systems Commissioning Engineer at PBT, you will work on CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems for, among others, museums, retail, logistics environments, and exclusive private properties. You program, test, and commission security installations before they are handed over to the client. You will find yourself at locations where safety, reliability, and continuity are central, and where high demands are placed on quality and craftsmanship.
Installing, programming, testing, and commissioning security installations.
Working with technologies such as intrusion detection, CCTV, access control, and integrated security systems.
Preparing complex security systems for handover and ensuring the quality of installations.
Analyzing malfunctions and solving technical issues independently.
Advising customers on security solutions and providing users with explanations about systems.
Collaborating with colleagues from engineering, work preparation, project management, and service.
You will work from the branches in Heerhugowaard and Blaricum on projects in Noord-Holland and the Randstad.
