Truckers drive many kilometers. Because of this, they spend a lot of time in their trucks. That is why every truck is fully customized, including all the bells and whistles. This is your task! You will assemble and install parts on new or young used DAF trucks. At TB, you will work in a successful family business where people are central. Our people make TB - and you will notice that. At TB, we look out for one another, both in our work and in our private lives. This way, you can do what you are good at, have fun, and continue to grow.
You make cabins like new again: from renewing cabin (plate) parts to straightening cabin frames on the straightening bench.
You may perform more complex (dis)assembly work, for example, the complete rebuilding of cabins including the interior, the assembly and rebuilding of body parts, supports, cooling packs, and steering mechanisms.
You will renew or repair damaged chassis parts and electronic components.
You check the alignment of the wheels with alignment equipment and adjust them if necessary.
You empty air conditioning systems and put them back into operation.
You coach the team with the rebuilding and adjusting of, for example, doors.
You repair and straighten the chassis frame of trucks and towed equipment using press and induction equipment.
You help your colleagues where necessary and prepare parts for painting.
You get to repair premium trucks and make them look their best. Not just a simple dent, but heavy-duty damage! Are you good at wrenching (even if you are not a diagnostic technician)? Then this is your ideal position. You (dis)assemble complete cabins, rebuild interiors, and renew chassis supports and radiators. Can you also straighten chassis & cabins and provide cabins with new sheet metal parts? Then you have a plus. And when it is quiet, you help with pre-treatment (preparing for painting). Ready for this varied and creative position.
You follow an MBO vocational training (for example, 1st-class vehicle damage repairer);
Two hands that are ready to work (you are technical and handy, and willing to develop this further).
You will work as a Damage Repairer / Damage Technician for trucks in a friendly team together with pre-treaters, painters, and fellow damage repairers. You will do this under the direction of the Workshop Manager. Together, you will surprise our customers with sparkling trucks!
If you already have demonstrable work experience in a workshop environment, you are eligible for a transition bonus of € 1,500.-.*
