Requirements

What we're looking for

You are following an MBO education at level 4, for example Media & Design, Media Designer, Media Maker, or Allround Media Maker. Students of an HBO Creative Business program are also welcome.
You have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
You have a sense for design, color, imagery, and typography.
You are up to date with the latest trends in the fields of design, social media, and content creation.
You have a good command of the Dutch language and can also express yourself well in English.
You are available from February 2027 for a full-time internship of at least 20 weeks.

Nice to have

Preferably, you also have experience with video editing, for example in Adobe Premiere Pro.
You are interested in photography and film and enjoy creating and editing visual material yourself.

From February 2027, we will have a position available for a creative intern within our marketing team!

Are you creative, visually oriented, and always looking for new ideas?

Do you want to use your creative talent to put Van der Valk Theaterhotel Almelo on the map, both online and offline? Do you have an affinity for graphic design, photography, and video, and do you want to learn how to translate your creations into strong content? Then we are looking for you!

What you'll do

As an intern within our marketing team, you will get plenty of room to develop your creativity and apply it in practice. Together with the Marketing Manager and various departments, you will work on diverse creative projects. From designing menus and promotional materials to creating social media content, videos, and photos: you help bring our ideas to life!

You develop creative content for our online and offline communication.
You take photos and videos and edit them for social media and campaigns.
You think along about creative concepts and marketing campaigns.
You support the design of promotional materials and newsletters.
Together with the Marketing Manager, you ensure a recognizable brand identity.
You get all the space to contribute your own ideas and discover new trends.

No two days are the same! You will have the chance to work on various projects and discover how creativity, design, and marketing come together within a versatile hotel.

Who are you?

You are creative, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. You have an eye for detail, enjoy thinking in images, and love turning ideas into appealing designs and content. You work independently, but also enjoy working together with colleagues on beautiful projects.

Have you not worked with all the Adobe programs yet, but are you enthusiastic and eager to learn? Then we would love to hear from you!
