Innovation Strategist

To maintain direction also in the long term, we are looking for an Innovation Strategist who brings together market developments, technology, and strategic choices into a clear innovation agenda.

In this role, you look beyond tomorrow's roadmap. You help determine which technologies, collaborations, and investments are relevant for the coming years and ensure that these are translated into concrete innovation programs, projects, and partnerships.

Additionally, you do not work solely from the perspective of Teledyne Adimec. Collaboration with other Teledyne entities is increasing, meaning you will increasingly be involved in innovation issues that transcend organizational boundaries.

You keep technology and innovation roadmaps up to date and help determine which developments are most relevant for the coming years. In doing so, you act as the bridge between R&D and Business Development, so that technical possibilities and commercial opportunities reinforce each other.

Additionally, you actively build an external network of universities, knowledge institutions, industry partners, and other Teledyne entities. You initiate collaborations, explore subsidy opportunities, and help bring innovation projects and consortia from idea to execution.

Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Developing and maintaining technology and innovation roadmaps;
• Connecting R&D, Business Development, and external partners;
• Setting up collaborations with universities, knowledge institutions, and industry partners;
• Initiating innovation projects, consortia, and public-private partnerships;
• Identifying subsidy opportunities and contributing to subsidy applications;
• Translating complex information into clear reports, proposals, and action plans;
• Representing Teledyne during international consortium and networking events.

You have a solid technical foundation within a high-tech environment and are ready for a role in which technology, strategy, and collaboration converge. You can translate technological developments into concrete innovation opportunities and know how to bring different interests together. Additionally, you are a strong networker who easily builds sustainable relationships with knowledge institutions, industry partners, and other stakeholders. You feel at home in an environment where you switch between technology, business, and external collaboration.

Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have experience as an R&D Manager, Principal Architect, System Architect, Technology Lead, Innovation Manager, or similar.
• You are able to translate technological developments into strategic choices and innovation opportunities.
• You feel comfortable in conversations with both engineers and architects as well as with management, external partners, and knowledge institutions.
• You have experience with or an affinity for innovation ecosystems, partnerships, consortium building, and public-private partnerships.
• You enjoy networking, presenting, and bringing different parties together around a common goal.
• You work independently and are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
