Technical Presales Consultant Juniper

• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience within technical presales, networking consultancy, solution architecture, or a similar technical advisory role.
• Good technical knowledge of networking, particularly routing, switching, and network security.
• You are familiar with security solutions such as firewalls and can translate technical issues into suitable solutions.
• Knowledge of Juniper is a strong plus. A background with, for example, Aruba/HPE, Cisco, Extreme Networks, or F5 also aligns well.
• You feel comfortable in conversations with customers and partners and enjoy advising on and presenting technical solutions.
• You possess relevant networking certifications or are willing to obtain additional Juniper certifications.
• You are a strong communicator and know how to explain complex technical topics in a clear and convincing manner.
• You combine technical expertise with a customer-oriented and commercial mindset.
• You are proactive, enthusiastic, and get energy from building relationships and sharing your knowledge.
• Good command of Dutch and English. French is a plus.

As a Technical Presales Consultant Juniper, you are the technical sparring partner for our partners, customers, sales colleagues, and vendors. You combine in-depth knowledge of networking and security with strong commercial and communicative skills.

You help partners in designing and validating solutions, support complex customer inquiries, and act as a technical ambassador for Juniper and TD SYNNEX. You are not only strong in content, but you also enjoy going out, building relationships, and sharing your knowledge.

This is not a purely internal or hands-on engineering role. You have regular contact with partners and customers, visiting them independently or together with sales, and representing our technical expertise during meetings, workshops, and events.

• Advise partners and customers on Juniper networking and security solutions.
• Translate complex technical and commercial customer issues into concrete, scalable, and future-proof solutions.
• Prepare technical designs and Bills of Materials and validate existing designs.
• Answer technical pre-sales questions from partners, resellers, and internal sales teams.
• Support technical quotes, tenders, and associated documentation.
• Conduct customer and partner visits independently and together with Business Development Managers and sales colleagues.
• Provide technical demonstrations, presentations, training, and workshops.
• Build strong relationships and a relevant network with partners, vendors, and end customers.
• Represent TD SYNNEX and Juniper during customer meetings, partner events, and trade fairs.
• Keep your technical knowledge up to date through training and vendor certifications.
• Contribute to the further growth of the Juniper business within the Benelux together with sales and business development.
