Service Technician

• A salary in accordance with the CAO Steel and Metal EUR 2900 - EUR 4100 gross per month depending on knowledge and experience

As a Security Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of alarm, camera, access control, and intercom systems in the Groningen, Friesland, and Overijssel region. 

You will start with an extensive induction process of approximately two months, during which you will work together with an experienced colleague. In your second year, you will follow the Security Systems Technician (MBV) training, for which you will go to school one day per week; an exam follows after approximately 7 weeks. During the first year, you will receive intensive guidance. 

After your induction period, you will receive your own customer base within your region. You will perform maintenance, resolve malfunctions, and act as an important contact person for the customer. You will also be trained step-by-step in the installation of security and camera systems. 

You will work for the Small & Medium Accounts department, with the branch in Amersfoort, and focus on customers within small and medium-sized enterprises. After approximately two years of experience, you will participate in the on-call service, on average once every twelve weeks.

When a customer has an adjustment or an extra wish, you ensure that this lead goes to sales. This way, the customer receives the right attention and we utilize the commercial opportunities that arise from customer contact. 

You have an affinity with technology and enjoy helping customers. You like to work independently, take responsibility, and get energy from solving technical problems.

• Are you willing to follow the MBV training; 

• Do you possess a driving license B;
