Pedagogical Staff Member | BSO Marie van Westerhoven Amsterdam

Do you see the hidden talent in every child? With that, you truly make a difference for them! We take the ideas and talents of the children (and yours too!) very seriously here. Your afternoon as a pedagogical staff member (BSO) in Amsterdam is therefore by no means childish.

As a pedagogical staff member, you will step into an after-school care center (BSO) where atmosphere and attention are central. At BSO Marie van Westerhovenstraat in Amsterdam, children are given the space after school to be completely themselves. They play, talk to one another, create something creative, or specifically choose a quiet moment for themselves. That makes every day different and surprising.

You will work at a location where children make their own choices and follow their own ideas. The indoor spaces offer room for creativity, relaxation, and meeting others. There is also much to experience outside. Children search for little critters in the nature garden, play on the grass field, or let loose with football, basketball, and the playground equipment nearby.

At this BSO, the feeling of being welcome comes first. We look at every child and connect with what they need. Sometimes we organize activities, sometimes the best plans arise spontaneously from the children themselves. As a pedagogical staff member, you contribute every day to a place where children feel seen and spend their time with pleasure.
