As a Buying Assistant, you are a true multitasker and fulfill an essential administrative role within the purchasing process. You work closely with the Buyers at MS Mode and support them with, among other things:

• The administrative preparation, elaboration, and processing of orders, including ensuring the correct samples in color and size and preparing orders for computer input

• The careful maintenance and checking of administration regarding changed purchase prices, delivery times, and other order data

• The confirmation and recording of selling prices in consultation with the Buyer, the processing thereof on the orders, and the checking of invoices for accuracy

• The administrative and organizational preparation of the Buyer's purchasing trips to the Far East, in collaboration with the Buyer and Stylist

• The requesting, processing, and archiving of size specs, technical drawings, and calculations, and the administrative preparation of orders

• Maintaining contact with suppliers regarding purchase orders and the checking and recording of lab dips, bulk fabrics, and accessories in consultation with the Buyer

• Supporting fittings, the recording of fitting comments, and collaborating on product descriptions for the webshop

• Identifying, registering, and following up on problems with delivered goods and the administrative preparation of any claims in collaboration with the Buyer and involved departments

• You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in fashion or a similar field;

• You are at the beginning of your career in buying or purchasing and are looking for a role in which administration and accuracy are central;

• You derive pleasure from working in a structured manner, processing data, and monitoring details;

• Knowledge of SAP is a plus, but not a must;

• You work independently, carefully, and proactively;

• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written;

• You feel comfortable in a supporting role and are communicative and hands-on.
