Technical Specialist PA&E

o HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, through education and/or experience, preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Process Control.
o Demonstrable experience with electrical installations in industrial environments.
o Demonstrable experience in process automation, SPS Siemens S7, and Profinet controls.
o NEN 3140 Work Supervisor certificate (or equivalent).
o In possession of a VCA Vol certificate.
o Familiar with work permit systems and safety procedures.
o Proficient with SAP, S/4 HANA, and MS Office packages.
o Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
o Sufficient command of the English and/or German language.

You are responsible for ensuring, maintaining, and optimizing our process control and safety systems. In doing so, you contribute directly to the safety, reliability, continuity, and quality of the production processes. Additionally, you lead and coordinate activities on automation and electrical installations and execute improvement and automation projects.

Responsibilities

o Programming, configuring, testing, and implementing process control and safety applications;
o Integrating and optimizing systems and advanced process controls;
o Coordinating inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations;
o Drafting and executing user instructions, training, and technical documentation;
o Providing support for electrotechnical and automation malfunctions;
o Monitoring compliance with NEN, IEC, and company standards;
o Leading automation and improvement projects;
o Participating in toolbox meetings, safety rounds, and project meetings.

o Actively contributing to GOAL ZERO, safety culture, and managing risks on the shop floor;
o Determining safe working methods and overseeing compliance with regulations, standards, and work procedures;
o Leading and coordinating activities on process control and electrical installations, including troubleshooting and managing contractors;
o Managing, maintaining, and optimizing process control systems and SIS applications;
o Advising on process optimizations, installation expansions, and replacement projects;
o Verifying and assessing SIL studies, Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS), and FAT/SAT documentation;
o Ensuring correct execution and reporting of inspections, incidents, and deviations;
o Managing the long-term plan for the replacement and modernization of aging systems;
o Contributing to continuous improvement of work processes, installation safety, and operational excellence.
