Mainframe Engineer (20+ Years Experience) - Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Engineer with 20+ years of expertise in designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise-scale mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of IBM Mainframe technologies and extensive experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other mission-critical enterprise environments.

The candidate will act as a technical leader, driving architecture decisions, application modernization initiatives, production stability, and delivery excellence across large-scale mainframe ecosystems.

What you'll do

Lead end-to-end design and architecture of Mainframe solutions.
Define technical roadmaps and modernization strategies for legacy applications.
Provide guidance to development, support, and testing teams.
Perform technical reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
Design, develop, and maintain complex Mainframe applications.
Lead enhancement and migration initiatives.
