Sales Assistant - 8 hours

As a Dyson Expert, you are the face of our brand and you create connections that turn store visitors into loyal Dyson fans. You provide an excellent customer experience and share your knowledge to help customers find the right solution. You are results-oriented, focused on sales, cross-selling, and up-selling, and you ensure that every interaction meets Dyson's standards of integrity, curiosity, and innovation.

Customer Experience & Advice

• Welcoming customers

• Provide expert advice on all Dyson products, tailored to the customer's wishes and needs

• Demonstrate products energetically and clearly, so that customers can experience the technology themselves

• Ensure a seamless and inspiring customer experience, from greeting to purchase

Sales & Performance

• Actively drive sales to achieve personal and store targets

• Identify and leverage opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within Dyson's product categories and accessories

• Convert demonstrations into sales with persuasive advice and engaging stories

• Share daily product knowledge and promotions with the team to increase store expertise

Brand & Store Standards

• Ensure the shop floor is clean, well-stocked, and presented according to Dyson's brand standards

• Set up product displays and maintain demonstration units in perfect condition

• Act as a Dyson ambassador, with integrity and professionalism in all your contacts

Teamwork & Personal Development

• Collaborate with colleagues, support team goals, share ideas, and celebrate collective successes. Participate in briefings, training, and remain open to feedback and improvement

• Stay curious and up-to-date on Dyson products, features, and the brand story

How success is measured

• Achieving personal and store targets, conversion rate, and average transaction value

• Customer satisfaction metrics such as NPS, Mystery Shopper, and OSAT scores

• Active participation in team activities, learning, and contributing to the store culture

• Compliance with brand standards on the shop floor

• Experience in retail, sales, or a customer-facing environment

• Confident communicator with strong persuasion and listening skills

• Loves connecting with people and discovering their needs

• Enthusiastic about technology, innovation, and achieving results

• Proactive, energetic, and reliable; willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
