The role
KPMG Technology Netherlands, based in Amstelveen, supports organizations in shaping their digital transformation with technology-driven advice. As part of the global KPMG network, we combine deep sector knowledge, innovative technologies, and strong partnerships with platforms such as Microsoft, SAP, and ServiceNow to realize meaningful, customized solutions.
When you come to work with us, you become part of KPMG's Enterprise Business Transformation approach, Powered Enterprise. You contribute to the development and application of proven best practices for back-office processes. Within our Powered Apps team, a diverse and close-knit community where collaboration is central, you help our clients professionally and impactfully realize Powered Enterprise solutions.
What you'll do
As a Consultant within our SAP Data & Insights team, you help organizations transform data into valuable insights and concrete business improvements. Together with consultants, data engineers, and analytics specialists, you design and realize solutions that improve operational performance and support clients in their digital transformation.
You work closely with clients to understand how their organization and processes function, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into practical, data-driven solutions. By combining business knowledge with analytics and technology, you help optimize processes and enable organizations to make better-informed decisions.
Your projects vary from analytics implementations and dashboard development to process analytics, operational improvements, and broader data-driven transformation programs. Although SAP forms an important part of our expertise, our work goes beyond SAP alone. Depending on the client's issue, you will work with various technologies, methodologies, and data solutions. In doing so, you always choose the approach that best aligns with the client's needs and ambitions.
Additionally, you investigate the possibilities of emerging technologies. Together with specialists within KPMG, you can contribute to initiatives surrounding developments such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and, in the long term, Quantum Computing.
You work in multidisciplinary teams for clients in diverse sectors, combining analytical thinking with a pragmatic consultancy approach. Our team consists of professionals with different backgrounds and expertise, who share one common passion: solving complex business problems using data.

- Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to realize high-quality data and technology solutions for clients in various sectors.
- Handling sensitive data carefully and responsibly, in accordance with ethical standards and applicable requirements regarding data protection and privacy.
- Continuously further developing your technical expertise and consultancy skills through training, certifications, and practical experience within projects.
